URL ທີ່ຜິດຖຽງກັນຂອງ Beeple 'hacked' ນໍາພາຜູ້ໃຊ້ໄປສູ່ waller drainer

  • Mike “Beeple” Winkelmann, an American Nonfungible token (NFT) artist, is again at the aim of hackers.
  • He alerted clients that the URL link to his official Discord server was “attacked” – giving unknown new members to a wallet-sucking Discord channel if they go through the link.

Beeple took to Twitter to express his views on October 3 and declared Discord for “being garbage,” alerting clients not to go into Discord and check as it will “clear out your wallet.”

Although, except Beeple, a Twitter user maxnautth. eth also noticed that the Discord link associated with Beeple:Everydays – 2020 Collection on NFT marketplace OpenSea marketplace has been “hacked.”

Maxnauth.eth has also shared a screenshot that shows that the URL aims to a “CollabLand wallet drainer,” representing a Collab.Land Bot on Discord which monitors participants to check account ownership – rather than it works to clear out their wallets, highlighting:

“Your Discord URL likely got hacked and your team did not update about it on OS. you need to alter that as soon as possible or people going to get desctoyed.”

When Beeple declares the URLs were hijacked and that Discord is to a fault, other crypto Twitter community members are debating that tax security measures are actually to blame.

OKHotshot comments

OKHotshot, an NFT analyst and blockchain detective, commented on the artist’s publicization, claiming that URLs weren’t hijacked but rather than accusing: “Mismanagement of discord URLs permits this occur, likely just like it occurred to CryptoBatz.”

However, cyber security company Black Alchemy Solutions highlighted their trust that it wasn’t “a Discord problem.”

“This is an issue with a misadministration of the Beeple Information Security apparatus. It seems that the mismanaging Discord URLs have been adjusted by the artist, as per maxnaut.eth, highlighting that it “appears Beep Man took it and has adjusted it now.”

The social media platform of Beeple is the main target for hackers and attackers, having some of the costly NFTs on record, adding the First 5,000 Days, a collection of 5000 pieces of artwork that was out for $69.3 million.

Space X, Apple, Louis Vuitton, and other big firms are recorded as customers on Beeple’s website.

However, Beeple hasn’t revealed the number of clients affected by the recently hacked Discord links.
