BTS and several of its members claim the highest spots on this week’s Hot Trending Songs chart, with both the band and two of its biggest stars standing out as some of the hottest topics on Twitter. As the group’s “Butter” runs the show for a tenth nonconsecutive turn, BTS performers Jung Kook and Jin appear one right after the other with their solo smashes, and the latter star makes history now that one of his own tunes has improved to such a lofty position.

In its fifteenth week on the Hot Trending Songs ranking, Jin’s single “Yours” jumps from No. 7 to a new high point of No. 3. Now that it’s lifted to third place, the tune ties with several others as the fifth-highest-charting hit ever by a solo musician.

At present, “Yours” is on the same level as four other singles, all of which peaked at No. 3 on the Hot Trending Songs chart and which together claim the honor of being the fifth-highest-charting solo releases in the history of the social ranking. Jin’s composition is now tied with BamBam’s “Slow Mo,” Kai’s “Peaches,” Lisa’s “Lalisa” and Dimash Kudaibergen’s “Be With Me,” all of which stalled in third place.

Four tracks by solo musicians have climbed one spot higher, and they all share the title of being the highest-charting hits ever on the Hot Trending Songs list, at least when looking at tunes not pushed by groups. Lisa’s “Money,” Mew Suppasit’s “Spaceman,” Kudaibergen’s “Fly Away” and Jung Kook’s “Stay Alive” have all missed out on the throne by a single space. This week, fellow BTS member Jung Kook scores his first top 10 with “Stay Alive,” which bolts from No. 16 to No. 2, also making history at the same time.

“Yours” is one of two hits Jin has placed on the Hot Trending Songs chart, and this week, both of them jump to new peak positions. As “Yours” rises to No. 3, the tune’s follow-up “Super Tuna” climbs from No. 12 to No. 5. Jin is now one of only six acts to score a pair of top fives, joining BTS, Kudaibergen, Lisa, Suppasit and Enhypen in this impressive feat.
