Valve has officially announced Counter-Strike 2, the long-awaited, much-rumored, and highly-anticipated new entry in the first-person shooter franchise. This is “the largest technical leap forward in Counter-Strike’s history” according to Valve’s blog post on the game. Here’s a trailer showing off the map updates:

Another new feature the developer is showing off: Improved smoke grenades.

Valve is running a ວຽກງານຕ້ານການຢຸດງານປະທ້ວງ 2 Limited Test that you can hop into right now, though not everyone will be allowed in at this time. The game will be free-to-play when it launches in a few months.
