While Blackpink may no longer hold this specific record, they remain the only South Korean girl group to have appeared on the Pop Airplay chart more than once. In addition to “Ice Cream,” the group also entered the chart in 2022 with their own single, “Pink Venom,” which peaked at No. 32.

Joining the ranks of Blackpink, Twice, Loona, and (G)I-dle, Fifty Fifty recently became the fifth South Korean girl group to grace the Pop Airplay chart. Since then, they have wasted no time in asserting their dominance, surpassing all of their predecessors. With “Cupid” still gaining momentum and ascending the charts, it is expected that the single will continue to climb in the weeks to come, and there’s no telling just how high it will ultimately soar.
