PlayStation Plus Extra is about to get a bunch of new games, some of which are pretty great new additions to Sony’s expanding Game Pass competitor.

While the free batch of PS Plus Essential games dropped earlier this month, comprised of three surprisingly great titles, this second batch—available at the Extra and Premium tiers—is also quite strong.

For shooter fans, Wildlands Ghost Recon provides some really fun open-world cartel-fighting action. It’s not quite the same stealth experience as the original Ghost Recon games, but if you enjoy open-world tactical combat, flying helicopters and running missions, it’s definitely worth your time.

First-person shooter fans should give Metro ອົບພະຍົບ a shot. The latest game in the post-apocalyptic shooter is bigger and better-looking, and should provide you with hours of tense missions fighting your way through hideous monsters and rival factions.

If you’re in the mood for asymmetrical horror competitive gaming, ຕາຍໂດຍ Daylight pits a team of survivors against monsters out of cinematic history such as Michael Myers and Freddie Krueger. One player plays the killer while the other four try to survive against the odds.

For fans of JRPGs, ການທົດລອງຂອງ Mana is a 3D remake of the third game in the excellent Mana series completely remade for modern systems.

Then there are three games in the Japanese crime series ຢາກູຊາ. That brings the total count for August up to four, since Yakuza: ຄືກັບ A Dragon was released on the first Tuesday of the month for PS Plus Essential and above. ຢາກູຊາ 0, ຢາກູຊາ ຄິວາມິ ແລະ ຢາກູຊາ ຄິວາມິ 2 join the PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup today.

There’s something for everyone, including the space-sim Everspace and two different ຜູກຂາດ titles, as well as the family-friendly (but super weird and a little janky) ບັກເນັກ.

All these titles will be available today for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. There appear to be no older console games coming out on the 16th, though I will update this post if that changes and Sony drops some surprises.
