South Korean Conglomerate keen towards eliminating the differences between the digital and real worlds.
Recently smartphone manufacturing giant, Samsung, announced that it will be offering non-fungible tokens, alongwith their upcoming products. The company ensured that its upcoming products, Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip 4 will come with the offering of The New Galaxy NFT as pre-order benefits. Customers can take advantage of this later this month.

Samsung also explained the inherent benefits of holding the non-fungible tokens. These NFTs had no practical value earlier, but now The New Galaxy NFTs would possess some real life values. Samsung Electronics disclosed their plan to add more benefits with the NFTs that would ensure to minimize the distance between both the digital and real worlds.
The company recently made an announcement revealing their intentions to move further with the Galaxy NFTs. It has signed an MOU (memorandum of understanding) with different companies. The agreement will let the owners of New Galaxy NFT to take advantage of NFTs.

After this agreement, South African owners of The New Galaxy NFT will be benefitted. They will be soon eligible to claim discounts and able to save more during authentication of their NFTs at stores of different ventures. These ventures that Samsung partnered with include Digital Plaza, The Shilla Duty Free Shop, Show Gold and e-Cruise.
Earlier in February this year, a Samsung backed University in South Korea went on to distribute NFT certificates to its students. The South Korean conglomerate joined the foundation of the university, becoming their main partner and sponsor in 1996. However, even this was the renewal of their earlier partnership that dates back to even earlier at the time of 1960s.
