Wordle ຂອງມື້ນີ້ #522 ຄໍາແນະນໍາ, ຂໍ້ຄຶດແລະຄໍາຕອບສໍາລັບວັນພຸດ, ວັນທີ 23 ພະຈິກ

Another day, another Wordle. A rather relevant Wordle in my world, though we’ll get to that later—I don’t want to give it away just yet!

You forget how busy this time of year can become. Family visits from out-of-town, or you visit family. Either way, there’s planning and preparation and money to spend. Something will go wrong. Somebody will be too stressed out by the proceedings—like they are every year—and not have any fun.

That’s the cost of doing business, I suppose. Family, feasting, fellowship. Not such bad things to spend your time and money on. There are worse things, and we’ll be bombarded with them (we already are!) come Black Friday. Deals! Deals! Deals! They’re just too good to be true, folks! Step right up and get your chance at some of these ປະຫລາດໃຈ deals!

But of course, Wordle is free. Shall we?

Well, this is the luckiest word I’ve had in a few weeks. Still chasing that one-guess-win unicorn, but I don’t mind a birdie (we’ll call 3 par).

ລະບາຍ was actually my second choice after ສະຫມອງ—until I remembered that I’d definitely used that one before. I’m not against using a word more than once, but if I can I try to do a new one every day. Fortunately for me, switching to ລະບາຍ slashed remaining guesses down to just 5. Unfortunately, I still had a lot of vowels remaining and, of course, had no idea how many solutions were left.

Still, I had the DR in green and a yellow ‘I’ and the very, very first thing I thought of was ຂັບ. Sure, there were other options—drill, drift, drier, ແລະ ຕາກໃຫ້ແຫ້ງ but I have a 15-year-old teenage daughter who gets her learner’s permit in like…two weeks! Of ແນ່ນອນ I have driving on my mind! (See, relevance . . . .)

So I got it in two, which is like double-plus-huzzah with a dash of hip-hip-hooray if you ask me. How did our buddy, Wordle Bot, do? Well he started with ແຜ່ນຫີນ, as per usual, and that got him an ‘E’ in green but nothing else. From there he guessed ຂາ, snagging the green ‘R’ to add to his green ‘E’ and a yellow ‘I’—not bad! He must have felt lousy, though, because he went with ຂີ້ເຫຍື່ອ next, which ruled out four more letters and got him to basically the same place I was with my very first guess. On guess #4 Wordle Bot guessed ຂັບ.

I win. So there!
