Thank goodness it’s Friday! I’ve had a crazy week. I won’t go into too many details. Suffice to say, I had a bit of a health scare yesterday and it took over most of my day. I’m fine but I’m definitely ready to get healthy and fit again after two years of letting it all go (the pandemic didn’t help with that).

Anyways, I guess it’s a good reminder. It’s easy to forget just how important it is to take care of ourselves. To take care of our bodies—these spirit vessels we trot around in and stuff food and drink into (and neglect and abuse). To take care of our minds and feed them books and ideas (and puzzles and games). And to take care of our spirits, and fill ourselves with joy and wonder (often by filling others with the same).

This triad of ຕົນເອງ that we have for a little while, on loan from the universe, is so easily broken. Bones shatter. Minds falter. Even spirits break. We are our own first line of defense. It’s easy to forget when times are tough or the world won’t stop spinning.

Harder still because of other realities. Time and space. We live in the past, present and future. It’s all a mad balancing act. Live for today, they tell you. But that’s only a piece of the truth. Tomorrow catches up to you. The past follows.

My guesses today were all pretty good I think, even if ໃນມື້ນີ້ only got me down to 308 remaining solutions. Sometimes that’s just not a big deal. Sure, it makes a guess on #2 unlikely, but as you can see below, once I guessed crane I was down to just 9.
